A:Yes, we partner with Mason City and Clear Lake Schools to offer free preschool for 4-year-olds. Classes run Monday through Friday, either from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM or 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, depending on enrollment.
Q:What curriculum is used in the preschool program?
A:Our preschool utilizes the nationally recognized "Creative Curriculum," focusing on academic readiness and social-emotional development through play-based learning.
Q:What are the enrollment requirements for preschool?
Children who are or will be 4 years old by September 15th are eligible. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and a birth certificate is required.
Q:Is there a preschool program for 3-year-olds?
A:Yes, we offer a preschool program for 3-year-olds with a monthly tuition fee. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and include breakfast and lunch.

Charlie Brown's Preschool Curriculum is a nationally recognized curriculum called "Creative Curriculum." This not only focuses on academic readiness but also social and emotional readiness. Learning activities called "studies" are centered around the Seven Domains of Learning:

- Scientific Thinking
- Social Skills
- The Arts
- Small Motor
- Large Motor
We believe that play is a child's work. Creative Curriculum focuses on setting up the environment with appropriate toys and activities for children to interact with others and learn through play.
